Get it now...

The very first print share that I offered on this blog was a scan of "The Flash Gordon Book," a photo-filled storybook based on the 1980 movie. On a blog which was then-titled "Vinnie Rattolle's Rare Records," it certainly wasn't very popular; I think there were less than 10 downloads before the link died. A year later, after the blog had evolved and been retitled, somebody asked me for a re-up so I (painstakingly) rescanned and re-upped it. From that point on, The Flash Gordon Book was one of the most consistently downloaded shares.


Soon after the re-up, I followed with "Flash Gordon: The Movie," a comic book adaptation of the film... a film which was adapted from a comic. Weird. Anyway, again this share was a ginormous hit. But there was one more tie-in book that I never got around to scanning...

Boasted as "the only book of the film" (clearly the publishers were misinformed), the Flash Gordon novelization by sci-fi writer Arthur Byron Cover is aimed at an older audience than the other two books. I always planned to share this, just hadn't gotten around to it -- but since Flash was the first print share on this blog, it seems appropriate that Flash should also be the last.
