On a blog which was then-titled "<span style="font-style: italic;">Vinnie Rattolle's Rare Records</span>," it certainly wasn't very popular; I think there were less than 10 downloads before the link died. A year later, after the blog had evolved and been retitled, somebody asked me for a re-up so I (painstakingly) rescanned and re-upped it. From that point on, <span style="font-style: italic;">The Flash Gordon Book</span> was one of the most consistently downloaded shares.<br /><br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_D1ZZyTOG7tQ/Sh2uW1HEDVI/AAAAAAAAE2Q/lT8Su9xb-Nw/s1600-h/Flash+Gordon+the+movie+Comic+Book+Adaptation.JPG" target="blank"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_D1ZZyTOG7tQ/Sh2uW1HEDVI/AAAAAAAAE2Q/lT8Su9xb-Nw/s400/Flash+Gordon+the+movie+Comic+Book+Adaptation.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5340616440368336210" border="0" /></a><br />Soon after the re-up, I followed with "<a href="http://www.mediafire.com/?snmadn6jpxdfv6c" target="blank"><span style="font-style: italic;">Flash Gordon: The Movie</span></a>," a comic book adaptation of the film... a film which was adapted from a comic. Weird. Anyway, again this share was a ginormous hit. But there was one more tie-in book that I never got around to scanning...<br /><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fomcF221ACk/T9WmBmMYVKI/AAAAAAAALEE/yEGSDAxfYBM/s1600/Flash%2BGordon%2BArthur%2BByron%2BCover.jpg" target="blank"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 234px; height: 400px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fomcF221ACk/T9WmBmMYVKI/AAAAAAAALEE/yEGSDAxfYBM/s400/Flash%2BGordon%2BArthur%2BByron%2BCover.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5752686645398230178" border="0" /></a>Boasted as "<span style="font-style: italic;">the only book of the film</span>" (clearly the publishers were misinformed), the <a href="http://www.mediafire.com/?v4c6h1ws5bcldxc" target="blank"><span style="font-style: italic;">Flash Gordon</span> novelization</a> by sci-fi writer Arthur Byron Cover is aimed at an older audience than the other two books. I always planned to share this, just hadn't gotten around to it -- but since Flash was the <span style="font-style: italic;">first </span>print share on this blog, it seems appropriate that Flash should also be the <span style="font-style: italic;">last</span>. Not quite. Sadly, most of the downloads are history (and have been since January) but many of the posts have been relocated to a new home. Long uninteresting story short: I had remove the posts from here in order to put them there.<br /><br />Still working on trying to get this new site finished and organized, but for anyone who's interested in a preview....<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://sites.google.com/site/cultoddities/">Vinnie Rattolle presents: Cult Oddities</a><br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="https://sites.google.com/site/cultoddities/"></a></div>Vinnie Rattollehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09108713348750705408noreply@blogger.com35
